Show how Caravaggioís work is an example of Baroque (so know the characteristics of Baroque art) and Delacroix is an example of Romantic art (so know the characteristics of Romantic art.) Be able to compare these two artworks.
What characteristics of Renaisance artwork are seen in Leonardo da Vinciís Virgin of the Rocks (Louvre version) and the Last Supper? Describe what is happening in each painting. Compare these two paintings and show how each painting shows the typical characteristics of art of its time period. How can we tell that they were painted during different time frames?
